What is squalane?
Pestle & Mortar vegan squalane is derived from olives. Squalane is a highly penetrative cosmetic ingredient that softens and soothes the skin. It is produced naturally by the skin but decreases dramatically with age.
Why is squalane special?
Moisturising & safe: Squalane absorbs slowly through the skin and is not a skin irritant.
Transporting: Squalane is an excellent transport system through which the skin can absorb other ingredients.
Anti-ageing: Squalane plays an important part in the repair of damaged skin.
